SPIE installs electrotechnical infrastructure at Merck’s new packaging centre
On behalf of the Merck Group, SPIE has undertaken the electrotechnical installations for the new "Pharma Packaging Center PH85" in Darmstadt. The operation focuses on the installation and documentation, in accordance with technical requirements, of medical product manufacturing plants. This modern packaging centre will be able to produce 210 million packages of medicines per year.
SPIE and RheinEnergie create TankE to develop electric mobility in Germany
The joint venture TankE GmbH will provide a full-service offer in the field of charging infrastructure for e-mobility throughout the whole of Germany. The offer is aimed both at direct customers in the B2B sector, such as companies and retailers stores, and at network partners such as municipalities and public utilities. The aim is to become a leading provider of e-mobility solutions across Germany and, together with municipal and commercial partners, to penetrate the market more effectively, thus building up a nationwide TankE charging station network.

SPIE reduces energy costs at Muldentalkliniken hospitals
SPIE delivers energy savings at Muldentalkliniken hospitals in Grimma and Wurzen. Muldentalkliniken GmbH commissioned SPIE to plan, install and operate two combined heat and power plants and absorption chillers. In the framework of energy performance contracting, the multi-technical service provider financed the initial investment. Refinancing will be carried out via the energy cost savings over a ten-year contract term.
