Further training and development

With an internal programme of further training, we offer a wide range of subject-specific and generic opportunities for further training and qualification programmes for employees and managers.

Our annual employee meetings and appraisals also ensure that we identify talented employees with high potential. They also help in the selective development of junior employees across all national boundaries. This allows us to achieve organic growth and to fill technical and management positions from within our own ranks.

Work and family

Key factors for succes: Familylife - a good balance between work and (family) life is the fundamental prerequisite for an efficient and motivated workforce. With our So' SPIE Kids programme we organise parent-child-offices, provision of day-care-facilities (wekita) as well as flexible work-time models and even more.  With flexible work-time models or homeoffices we give our employees individual opportunities to reconcile their work and family commitments.

wekita
Due to our cooperation with the nursery agency wekita, it is possible to offer day-care services for SPIE-employees' children. (vid. only in German)

In 2015, the So’ SPIE Ladies Network to support women in our teams was founded in order to enhance the career opportunities open to women and to achieve gender equality.

Diversity

As a multitechnical service provider that is active in many countries across Europe and worldwide, we encounter many different nationalities on a daily basis who work together successfully on very different projects. A key factor in the success of our international teams is diversity – different languages, traditions and cultural experiences. We will continue to develop this success factor within SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa GmbH. Different perspectives open up new possible solutions. Fresh, young ideas and long-term experiences complement each other perfectly in our teams. With this in mind, we welcome employees of all genders, ages and nationalities – to mention just a few aspects of diversity.
